19/08/2009 -- OUR TALLEBUDGERA LADIES BADMINTON CLUB ARE VERY BUSY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS WITH ATTENDING MULTIPLE EVENTS - On the 25th August, most of our ladies are helping out in the Transplant Games being held on the Gold Coast this coming week, in particular the Badminton side of things, they will have 8 Courts up and running at Tallebudgera, ages range in 15 up to 70 years. It is a full days for us ladies. On the 1st September,an inter club competition at Nambour, fun day, with some serious badminton, for us older generation!! Ha.. In October, we have some ladies participating in the World Masters Games in Sydney, and we have two teams par taking in the Atalanta Jamboree up in Noosaville, from the 19th to the 24th October. Badminton Gold Coast wishes the ladies all the best whether it be playing or organising.

08/08/2009 -- FRIDAY NIGHT JUNIORS HAS TAKEN A FRESH APPROACH WITH THE HELP OF THE WOOLWORTHS FRESH FOOD KIDS COMMUNITY GRANT - Thanks to Woolworths we now have the money to purchase nets and posts for the juniors and reduced sized rackets for kids under the age of 10. we are also taking the coaching on the road and going out to schools that are not familiar with the sport.
